Mano Hand
Le pareti di questa stanza ripiegano
con discrezione le orecchie
al rumore delle porte
che si aprono e chiudono,
i cardini cigolano
nella notte con la ruggine ai piedi.

Il suo corpo si apre
alla luce che lui le riversa
dentro e insieme
viaggiano sui viali
di pianto ancestrale,

attraverso la cima degli alberi la luce
colpisce delicatamente la loro carne
esposta. Lui mette la mano
nella sua anima come un bacio,
precipitandola
attraverso foreste e radure

in quella luce sbiadita
della tundra in cui
alla fine lei cammina
nelle orme di lui
da sola.

The walls of this room discreetly
fold back its ears
to the sound of doors
opening and closing,
hinges creaking in
the night with rust on its feet.

Her body opens
to the light he pours
into her and together
they travel the alleyways
of ancestral weeping,

the light through the treetops
striking softly at their compound
flesh. He puts his hand
in her soul like a kiss,
sending her tumbling
through forests and glades

into that bleached light
of the tundra where
finally she walks
in his foot-steps
alone.
